It's been over a year since I have written anything and I have quite a few things to share. First, I am no longer with Evil Head Productions. Things just weren't working out. Second, I am working on a solo project that I hope to start filming on very soon. And lastly, if anyone reads this, please leave a comment or something. I know I dont post much at all but I appreciate everyone who at least reads it. And now for a pic....

I have taken a small hiatus from working on the game. I am looking into different programs to bring it to life. I am working on a few new things. I will keep you all posted as things develop.
I have gone through several parts of the game and changed up some background tiles to make things a little more identifiable. The Hospital now has a speckled white floor. The floor of the convenience store is now white tile. And the Police Station now has a more uniform concrete look to it. I have also changed some of the tiles for Stage 6. I have created the objects for the Posse Members that you need to rescue in the bonus stage but haven't added them to the level yet. And I am still waiting on some other resources so that I can go ahead with the cu
The Bonus level is almost complete. The map, enemies and player are done. I hope to add a couple of things like several people to rescue and a counter to show how many enemies are left.The main character in the Bonus level is Sheriff Swanger, a character mentioned several times in the story. His actions aren't fully explained , so I decided to ex I have also implemented a checkpoint system to the first level so that it isn't as confusing to navigate. My previous system just had a compass showing the goal and was a little deceptive. Now it points to each checkpoint and is much more helpful.
I have added a level select and worked on the map for Stage 6. I am waiting for a couple of things from other people to go forward with the rest of the stage but it will take a while to get the map ready so there really isn't any rush. I have also started on the Bonus level with a new playable character
Here, at least, it is 12/22/2012. And as far as I am concerned, the world hasn't ended. Not yet, any way. Which is a good thing, as I haven't finished the game yet. I have, however, added a new menu system, a new playable character, a new weapon for said character,fixed (mostly) a lag problem on stage 4, and am thinking about adding at least one bonus stage that unlocks after finishing the main game as well as a level select. If anyone would like to demo the first 4 levels and give feed back, the Downloads section has a demo. It's approximately 60 megs in size.
I have added a Compass to several levels. Due to the sheer size of those levels, it was difficult to figure out which way to go. I have also finished the map on Level 4 and added some music. The music was created by Drunken Turtle Sound using Acid Pro 7. Also, here is a little taste of the story with the opening for Level 3.
